MCG Career College held its largest graduation ceremony to date this spring, sending 312 graduates into the workforce across healthcare, business, and architectural technology programs.
This spring, MCG Career College celebrated its most significant graduation in the institution's 21-year history. Three hundred and twelve graduates crossed the stage — simultaneously across all three campuses in Calgary, Red Deer, and Cold Lake — marking a moment that MCG President Dr. Sandra Morel called "the most meaningful day on our calendar."
The ceremony, held on May 24, 2025, brought together graduates from the Medical Office Assistant, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Basic and Advanced Therapeutic Massage, Global Operations Management, and Architectural Technology programs. Family members, instructors, and industry partners filled each venue to capacity.
For the first time, all three campuses hosted simultaneous ceremonies connected via live video stream. Graduates in Cold Lake and Red Deer were able to see their Calgary counterparts crossing the stage in real time — a moment of unity that drew a standing ovation at each venue.
"These graduates chose to invest in themselves," said Dr. Morel in her keynote address. "They showed up every day, they pushed through challenges, and today they are ready. Canada's healthcare and industry sectors are lucky to have them."

MCG's graduate employment data continues to lead the private career college sector in Alberta. According to the college's annual graduate outcomes survey, 91% of this year's class had secured employment in their field within 90 days of graduation — up from 88% the previous year.
The college announced two new program cohorts launching in the Fall 2025 intake, along with expanded evening and online delivery options to accommodate working professionals. Applications for the fall intake are now open.
