MCG Career College has launched a formalized Employer Partnership Program — a structured network of 80+ Alberta-based companies that commit to interviewing MCG graduates before graduation day. The program, announced June 1, 2025, is the first of its kind among private career colleges in the province.

Under the program, participating employers receive early access to the MCG graduate portfolio — including résumés, clinical evaluations, and program completion records — approximately six weeks before convocation. Graduates, in turn, receive warm introductions to hiring managers in their field rather than submitting cold applications.

How the Partnership Works

Employer partners sign a memorandum of understanding with MCG committing to participate in at least two of the following activities each academic year:

"We're not a job board. We're a handshake. Our graduates don't send 50 applications — they walk into rooms where people already know MCG's name."
— Career Services Director, MCG Career College

Which Industries Are Participating

The initial cohort of employer partners spans healthcare, logistics, architecture, and business administration — aligning directly with MCG's program offerings:

For Prospective Students

The Employer Partnership Program is available to all MCG graduates beginning with the Spring 2025 convocation. Students enrolled in any active MCG program are automatically enrolled in the career services pathway that leads to employer introductions in their final term.
