It is very much apparent that I'm being aged out of the physical aspects of things — and experience alone is not going to carry me forward. With my gene pool, I could have another 25 years of employment. So I'd like to stay relevant, and interesting.

Through the practicum I met professionals, built my network, and walked out with a job — volunteering gave me the community.

Don't hesitate — just try. The flexible schedule and payment options made it possible for me, and the instructors were always there when I needed them.

I'm moving from being a stay-at-home mom to possibly making homes for others. It's a major manifestation for myself.
