Overview

The program that turns an eye for space into a career.

The Architectural Technology diploma graduates students with industry-recognized skills rooted in a foundation of design theory. You'll obtain the skills to succeed across the architectural design and construction industry.

Students study and develop architectural drafting and presentation techniques, examine environmental considerations, and investigate both theoretical and practical elements of architectural methodology. The program adds an exploration of project management, adherence to construction-industry norms, and an in-depth look at building materials and specifications.

Over a 95-week combined learning model, you'll build industry skills through simulations and capstone development — enabling you to create a marketable portfolio of work before you ever graduate.

The program is recognized and licensed by Alberta Advanced Education, and government funding may be available to eligible students.
