March 15, 2020: COVID-19 operational update

The Government of Alberta has officially announced that in-person post-secondary classes are cancelled and K-12 schools and childcare centres are closed indefinitely.

At MCG Career College, all courses will go to online delivery where possible and the Dean will be following with students one-on-one regarding any practical training components of their program.

For those students on practicums, we are working closely with both the students and their practicum placements to determine appropriate next steps. The safety of our staff and faculty remains our top priority.

We will provide further updates as necessary.

March 12, 2020: MCG response to coronavirus (COVID-19)

The situation regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) is raising concerns both globally and right here at home.

At MCG Career College, the safety of our staff and students is our priority. We are following guidance from Alberta Health Services, which includes additional cleaning and preventative measures and extra signage regarding hand-washing and other hygiene recommendations.

For the most up-to-date information regarding COVID-19, please follow Alberta Health Services and the Government of Alberta.

Any students with questions or concerns about their classes or practicums are advised to speak to their instructor and/or the Dean.
