At MCG, we pride ourselves in offering programming that is flexible and welcoming to all. To that end, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been granted international certification and can now welcome International students! If you’re a prospective international student considering studying at MCG, read on for some action items to check off on your way to a new life and a new career!
Get off to a great start
Admission to MCG Career College requires all applicants to follow our formal admissions procedure, including:
- An interview with MCG personnel (can be facilitated through technology)
- Meeting the admission and selection (if applicable) requirements
- Completing the application form
- Meeting the English language requirements
Choose your program
Alright, now that those tasks are completed, let’s choose your program! MCG programs are designed to help take tangible steps toward a career that is both meaningful and rewarding. Start your journey by becoming a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with our Basic Massage and Advanced Therapy Programs. Or, learn the necessary skills and theoretical knowledge needed to become a competent and confident Medical Office Assistant and Unit Clerk.
Immerse yourself
Now that the administrative tasks are complete, and you’ve purchased your plane ticket to Calgary (or are already here!), you’re preparing yourself for this new and exciting adventure. It’s important to remember that each country comes with its own set of characteristics and customs, and you might find yourself in a bit of culture shock with your move to Canada. Living in Calgary can be very different for some, so getting involved in activities at school, local cultural activities, or picking up a new sport will help you adjust and build a network of friends.
