Student Services Coordinator

Position Overview

MCG Career College is seeking a dedicated Student Services Coordinator to support students in their academic journey. This role focuses on providing students with study skills, life skills, and access to internal and external resources to enhance their success. The ideal candidate is passionate about student success, proactive in engagement, and skilled in technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic and life skills support to students, helping them develop strong study habits and time management strategies.
• Act as a resource for students needing assistance with personal or academic challenges, connecting them with appropriate internal and external supports.
• Assist students with re-entry into their program if they have been withdrawn, providing guidance on processes and resources.
• Administer and analyze student satisfaction surveys to gather feedback and improve student experiences.
• Develop initiatives and activities that promote student engagement and retention.
• Utilize technology effectively to track student progress, maintain records, and facilitate communication.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to ensure students receive the necessary support to thrive in their programs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling, Student Services, or a related field.
• Experience working with adult learners in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a student-centered approach.
• Proficiency with technology, including student management systems, online learning platforms, and data collection tools.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with faculty, staff, and external partners.
• Flexibility to work evening hours to support student needs.
