Position Overview:
This position is ON-SITE.
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Student Finance Officer. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to kickstart your career in the education industry. As a Student Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing financial matters related to our students’ education journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with inquiries related to tuition fees, payment plans, scholarships, and financial aid options.
- Collaborate with students to ensure they understand their financial obligations and available resources.
- Process student payments, track account balances, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing student concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient communication regarding student accounts.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a College diploma in a relevant field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using basic office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer-centric approach with a dedication to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role is a plus.
- Prior experience working with various provincial student loans is a strong asset.
Shift Details:
The Student Finance Officer accommodates students’ schedules and provide flexible support.
