Job Posting: Part-Time Education Administrator
Location: Remote with 1 day a week onsite for physical files

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Education Administrator. Key Responsibilities:
- Attendance Management:
- Create and manage attendance records in Moodle.
- Transpose data from attendance spreadsheets into the Moodle system accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor attendance patterns and identify at-risk students.
- Report attendance concerns to the appropriate Program Lead in a timely manner.
- Student Support:
- Work directly with struggling students to provide resources and guidance to help them get back on track.
- Collaborate with Program Leads to reschedule student courses and exams as needed.
- Academic Records Maintenance:
- Maintain and organize student academic files under the direction of Program Leads.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with institutional policies.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Communicate regularly with faculty and department heads to address student needs.
- Prepare and share reports related to attendance, academic progress, and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Must have a post-secondary diploma or degree.
- Student Services background is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas.
- Proven experience with data entry and organizational tasks.
- Proficiency in Moodle or similar Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing academic records.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support students and collaborate with staff.
- Experience in an academic or administrative role is an asset.
